Nine judges from Taiwan spent Oct. 28-Nov. 1 visiting New Jersey and New York federal and state courts, Rutgers Law School-Newark and the U.S. Asia Law Institute at New York University Law School to learn about the American jury system. Retired Workers’ Compensation Judge Sue Pai Yang coordinated the New Jersey visit.

Rutgers Law-Camden Honors Three Alumni

Rutgers Law School-Camden honored three graduates at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Celebration on Nov. 14. James Maida, a 1990 graduate and president and chief executive officer of Gaming Laboratories International, received the 2013 Arthur E. Armitage Sr. Distinguished Alumni Award. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judith Wizmur ’75 received the Honorable Joseph M. Nardi Jr. Distinguished Service Award. And Tara Marie Pellicori ’09, a corporate and finance attorney at DLA Piper in Philadelphia, received the Recent Graduate Award.
