A New Jersey appeals court on Friday overturned a $226,321 malpractice verdict against a law firm that represented multiple parties in an intrafamily dispute over property and money.

The Appellate Division found the actions by the firm, Spector & Dimin of Englewood, and one of its partners, Stephen Spector, did not create an impermissible conflict of interest or fall short of acceptable standards of practice.
