A man who spent years behind bars because an assistant county prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence won’t be able to proceed with civil rights claims against Camden police officers.

U.S. District Judge Noel Hillman on Tuesday granted summary judgment for Gilberto Morales and Isidro Reyes, finding neither officer took part in the decision to arrest Perman Pitman or to prosecute him for the September 2005 shooting death of Robert Mays.
