Eric Murdock, the former Rutgers University employee whose release of videotapes of player mistreatment led to the ouster of basketball coach Mike Rice and athletic director Tim Pernetti, says the two men are blocking discovery in his wrongful-termination suit.
Murdock, in a motion to compel Rice and Pernetti to appear for depositions, says they are engaged in a “coordinated effort to stonewall…discovery” in the Middlesex County case, Murdock v. Rutgers, in which they are defendants.
