New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services v. W.F., A-0190-12T3; Appellate Division; opinion by Leone, J.S.C., temporarily assigned; decided and approved for publication January 28, 2014. Before Judges Yannotti, Ashrafi and Leone. On appeal from the Chancery Division, Family Part, Salem County, FN-17-67-07. DDS No. 20-2-2659 [20 pp.]

Defendant R.F. (the father) and defendant W.F. (the mother) married and had six children. The Division of Youth and Family Services obtained care and supervision, but not custody, over the children in litigation under the “abuse and neglect” (FN) docket, filed after DYFS received referrals that the father physically abused the three older children. The court also issued an order of protection restraining the father from going near the marital home.
