Officers and trustees of the Mercer County Bar Association were sworn in Jan. 23 by retired N.J. Chief Justice Deborah Poritz at a general membership meeting at Greenacres Country Club in Lawrence- ville. The officers are: president Dorothy Bolinsky of Drinker, Biddle & Reath, Princeton; president-elect Michelle Gasparian of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office; vice president Colleen Crocker of Romando, Tucker, Zirulnik & DeMille, Hamilton; treasurer Robert Lytle of Szaferman Lakind Blumstein & Blader, Lawrenceville; and secretary Angelo Onofri of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. The trustees are Robert Casey of the Lenox Law Firm, Lawrenceville; Michael Kahme of Hill Wallack, Princeton; Tanya Phillips of Devlin Cittadino and Shaw, Lawrenceville; T. Sandberg Durst of the Durst Law Firm, Princeton; and Thomas Onder of Stark & Stark, Princeton. Two Receive Bar’s Amicus Curiae Award

Shalom Stone, left, a partner with Walder Hayden & Brogan in Roseland, and Stacie Powers, right, an associate with Connell Foley in Roseland, received the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Amicus Curiae Award on Dec. 13 at the Law Center in New Brunswick. Stone and Powers were recognized for their successful pro bono representation of the NJSBA in Nostrame v. Santiago, helping to bring about a Supreme Court decision dismissing a tortious interference claim by one attorney against another for allegedly taking away a client.
