A long-stalled $69 million settlement in a class-action suit over leaky sunroofs in Volkswagen and Audi vehicles was approved by a federal appeals panel on Wednesday.
The deal, affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, includes $9.2 million in fees and $677,000 in costs for the plaintiff firms: Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman in Roseland, N.J., and Schoengold & Sporn in New York.
