Defendants Procter & Gamble and Rite-Aid have won their global motion to exclude the general-causation experts of the last 12 state-court plaintiffs who allege that their exposure to zinc from denture adhesive creams caused them to develop an irreversible neurologic condition known as copper deficiency myeloneuropathy.

The defendants include Procter & Gamble, which makes and distributes Fixodent, and Rite-Aid, which sells the dental adhesive cream.
