Piece Offering—A palimony suit against a New Jersey lottery winner has ended in reconciliation for the feuding couple and a dismissal of the case—and all it took was a box of chocolate-covered strawberries and truffles on Valentine’s Day.
Pedro Quezada, the sole winner of $338 million in a March 2013 Powerball drawing, was sued by his girlfriend, Inez Sanchez, who claimed their relationship, which spanned a decade and resulted in one daughter and a co-owned Passaic bodega, entitled her to palimony.
