The Middlesex Bar Association held its ninth annual Practice Area Awards Dinner on March 20 at The Pines Manor in Edison. Six attorneys were honored for leadership in their practice fields; contributions to the Bar; contributions to the community and/or charitable endeavors; a record of promoting participation and involvement in the Bar; and a reputation for personal and professional integrity. Dalya Youssef, a New Brunswick solo, won the Pro Bono Award. Nicholas Leonardis, of Edison’s Stathis & Leonardis, received the Civil Trial Practice Award. James Millner, of the Middlesex County Office of the Public Defender, won the Criminal Trial Practice Award. Elliot Solop, of Ansell, Grimm & Aaron in Ocean, took the Young Lawyer Award. Thomas Denitzio Jr., of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis in Woodbridge, received the Transactional Award, and Paul Rowe of the same firm won the Robert J. Cirafesi Chancery Practice Award.

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin’s Cherry Hill and Roseland offices participated in the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” fundraiser on Feb. 7, raising more than $800 for women’s heart disease research. Participating attorneys and staff wore red to create awareness for the cause.
