A New Jersey county that was sanctioned for stonewalling on discovery for two years in a former employee’s wrongful termination suit has agreed to settle the case for $775,000.

The settlement in Montana v. Cape May County Board of Freeholders, approved by U.S. District Judge Noel Hillman, resolves all outstanding claims—including the sanctions.
