A New Jersey personal injury lawyer and his paralegal are charged along with 10 other people with complicity in a ring that used runners to round up auto accident victims and then billed insurers for unnecessary treatments.

Acting Attorney General John Hoffman on Thursday announced state grand jury indictments of David Walker, 55, of Rockaway, and Alexandra Gallegos, 53, of Piscataway, on charges of second-degree racketeering, second-degree conspiracy and third-degree criminal use of runners.
