Atlanta-based real estate firm Jamestown Properties on Aug. 6 announced it has paid $272.5 million to acquire outdoor retailer The Shops at Georgetown Park in Washington, D.C., from real estate investment trust Vornado Realty Trust in Paramus, N.J.

Stake in Cross River Acquired

Growth equity investor Ridgemont Equity Partners of Charlotte, N.C., on Aug. 13 announced it has acquired a majority stake in fiber optic technology developer Cross River Fiber in Summit, N.J. James Fitzsimmons, Jonathan Gray and Benjamin Taub of Budd Larner in Short Hills, N.J., advised Cross River in the transaction, while a team from Atlanta, Ga.’s Alston & Bird advised Ridgemont.
