Rodriguez v. Santana: A pedestrian who was run over by a school bus agreed to a $1.9 million settlement on July 28.
Luis Rodriguez, of Jersey City, N.J., then 55, was hit on June 1, 2011, while crossing Ocean Avenue in Jersey City where it intersects with Orient Avenue. There was no crosswalk but he was walking where one would be, according to his lawyer, John Molinari, of Blume Donnelly Fried Forte Zerres & Molinari in Jersey City.
