Less than a year after forming, Archer & Greiner’s lobbying subsidiary lost a well-connected leader when founder and co-chair Richard Mroz was appointed to a position in the Christie administration, but the firm says it’s prepared to forge ahead.

Mroz, who earlier this month was confirmed as president of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU), leaves behind an established book of business at Archer Public Affairs LLC, which was formed last October when the Haddonfield, N.J.-based law firm acquired Richard S. Mroz Consulting of Trenton, N.J.
