Sills Cummis & Gross in Newark adds four new associates to the Newark office. Nicholas Bahnsen is an associate in the litigation practice group. He was previously employed by the Office of U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance, where he served as the Congressman’s personal aide, service academy coordinator and scheduler. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School in 2012. Brandon Boffard is an associate in the real estate practice group. He previously was a judicial intern for U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Rosemary Gambardella. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2014. Christina Burke is an associate in the health care practice group. She was previously an associate at K&L Gates in Newark. She received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007. Scheherazade Wasty is an associate in the litigation practice group in both the Newark and Princeton, N.J., offices. Prior to joining the firm, she was a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Jose Linares of the District of New Jersey. She received her J.D. from New York Law School in 2013.

New Fall Associates at Day Pitney

Day Pitney in Parsippany, N.J., welcomes four new associates. Evan Lazerowitz, a member of the complex commercial litigation department, was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2012. Prior to joining Day Pitney, he was a judicial clerk to Judge Mitchel E. Ostrer at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2013, where he was a notes editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. Nicole Magdziak, a member of the real estate, environmental and land use department, also served as a summer apprentice with Day Pitney, in 2013. She was an intern with Judge Denise Cobham of the New Jersey Superior Court. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2014, where she was vice president of the Environmental Society, symposium editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal, and recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. Arielle Sepulveda, a member of the employment and labor department, was also a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2012. Prior to joining Day Pitney, she was a judicial clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Rosemary Gambardella for the District of New Jersey. Sepulveda received her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2013, where she was co-chair of the Lambda Law Students Association, a member of the Native American Law Students Association and a staff writer for the Law and Religion Program. Kendall Wilson, a member of the public securities department, was also a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. Prior to joining Day Pitney, she was an intern with Wyndham Worldwide Corporation in Corporate Services in New Jersey. She received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2014, where she was solicitations editor of the Journal of College and University Law, a member of the Business Law Forum and a member of the Black Law Students Association.
