Though the actual amount of recovery is yet to be determined, an Essex County jury on Oct. 15 awarded $4.26 million in damages to a Newark woman whose knee was hit by a car in Conyers v. Spring.
The Jan. 17, 2010, accident was the second of two that day that injured plaintiff Cynthia Conyers at the intersection of Bergen and West Runyon streets in Newark.
