Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti is experiencing a second defection in five months, most recently the departure of a member of leadership, but the Morristown, N.J., firm continues to hire laterals and new associates.
On Nov. 3, it was announced that Shawn Kelly would lead a four-lawyer insurance and reinsurance group from Riker Danzig to the Short Hills, N.J., office of Dentons, a 2,600-lawyer multinational firm that is the product of a three-firm combination last year.
