SoulCycle’s studio in Short Hills, N.J., was filled with cyclers on the night of Oct. 8, pedaling to “Break the Cycle” of domestic violence. The studio was alive with energy and included Montclair, N.J.-based Partners for Women and Justice’s pro bono attorneys, staff attorneys, Junior Advisory Board members, staff and supporters. The event raised funds for Partners’ work of providing much needed legal assistance to domestic violence victims and their children. Local Law Firm Goes Casual for a Cause

Laddey, Clark & Ryan in Sparta, N.J., participated in Lee National Denim Day to help raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Lee Jeans created this fund-raiser in which participants donate $5 or more in exchange for the right to “go casual for a cause” and wear jeans to work starting on the first Friday in October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
