As you may have noticed, there have been changes at the Law Journal over the past year, many of them directly affecting the content you read on a daily basis.

We have tried to become more proactive and visible, encouraging feedback from our readers and increasing the diversity you see in our pages. As a part of this initiative, I was given the opportunity to oversee a new outlet for change with lawyers my own age, who face a different reality than those who entered the workforce decades ago. The 16-member New Jersey Law Journal Young Lawyers Advisory Board spans the state and various practice areas, bringing together fresh-out-of-law-school associates and young partners who run entire firms. Once a month, they will look to share personal and specific insights on what it means to be a young attorney in New Jersey today. This debut is the result of dedication and hard work on behalf of the group, who added hours to their workdays to read drafts, send comments, and interact with one another to make this idea a reality. I am extremely proud of their efforts and look forward to sharing their views with you.
