Dentons in Short Hills, N.J., welcomes insurance and reinsurance litigators Shawn Kelly and John (Jack) Vales as partners, along with managing associate Jonathan Henry and associate Erika Lopes-McLeman. They were all previously with Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Peretti in Morristown, N.J., where Kelly was co-chair of that firm. Kelly’s 35-year litigation career has focused on solving sophisticated insurance coverage disputes and reinsurance cases. Vales’ litigation practice focuses on representing companies in the insurance, pharmaceutical and financial services industries. Henry represents insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and manufacturers in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Lopes-McLeman focuses her practice on insurance coverage litigation, insurance defense and complex commercial litigation.
