The New Jersey State Bar Association’s governing body filled a vacant seat and approved a pair of programs to help young lawyers get practical hands-on experience.

One program will pair young lawyers who want to do volunteer work with Pro Bono Partnership and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, which will team the lawyers up with a mentor and allow them to get transactional and litigation experience with clients through the agencies.
