Fair Ride—A lawsuit filed against amusement park operator Six Flags by a disabled New Jersey teen and his mother will live on after a New Jersey federal judge denied the company’s motion for dismissal.
U.S. District Judge Joel Pisano, sitting in Trenton, N.J., denied the theme park’s motion on Dec. 31, 2014, claiming it did not prove that its refusal to let 16-year-old Joseph Masci, of Millstone, N.J., on some rides at its Jackson, N.J.-based Six Flags Great Adventure location was based on sufficient safety questions and not solely on his appearance.
