New York-based employment firm Jackson Lewis, which already has a considerable North Jersey presence, announced plans to open an office this spring in Monmouth County, and populate it with a five-lawyer labor and employment group just lured away from Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla of Red Bank, N.J.

Joseph DeBlasio, until recently co-chair of Giordano Halleran’s labor and employment practice, led the group, which is practicing out of Jackson Lewis’ Morristown, N.J., office for now.
