Donald Trump is one step closer to taking his name out of Atlantic City, New Jersey, after a bankruptcy judge lifted a stay on the real estate mogul’s licensing suit against unrelated casino operator Trump Entertainment Resorts.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross for the District of Delaware ruled Feb. 20 that Trump’s suit, which demands that his name be scrubbed from all of Atlantic City-based Trump Entertainment’s properties, will be allowed to proceed in Delaware bankruptcy court.
