Suspended Belief—Monmouth County’s Lake Como, New Jersey, is facing life without a lawyer after it was made aware that the law license of its current borough attorney, William B. Gallagher Jr., has been temporarily suspended since January, the same month he was sworn in for another term.

On Feb. 23, Manasquan, New Jersey-based newspaper The Coast Star said the borough had temporarily suspended Gallagher from his duties, citing pending ethics charges, the nature of which are unclear.
