Fishy Business—A New Jersey industrial landlord has filed a suit against H.J. Heinz Company, claiming the condiment giant breached the terms of its lease when it allegedly vacated a Fair Lawn warehouse building and left it reeking of anchovies.

Fairlawn Industrial Properties (FIP), of Fort Lee, alleges in a suit filed March 13 in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that Pittsburgh-based Heinz “refused, and continues to refuse” to fix more than $1 million worth of damage the building supposedly sustained while occupied by Heinz subsidiary Lea & Perrins.
