A Mercer County judge entered a $6 million judgment on March 24 for a Ewing man who got his hand caught in a machine at work in Brown v. Hayneswood.
Judge Douglas Hurd ordered the sum paid to Darryl Brown by Hayneswood Engineering (UK) Ltd., of Oldham, England, and its managing director, Kevin Haynes, allocating 60 percent of the liability, or $3.6 million, to the company, and 40 percent, or $2.4 million, to Haynes.
