A longtime county counsel is facing calls for his resignation in connection with a troubled solar panel project that has cost the county more than $20 million.
Two of the five freeholders for Sussex County are asking Dennis McConnell, who has been county counsel since 1989, to step down for allegedly failing to protect the county’s interests.
