A company hit with a $175 million whistleblower verdict in Texas last fall over allegedly defective guardrails now faces a motion in New Jersey state court seeking to reopen a suit over a fatal accident on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The plaintiffs contend in their motion that Trinity Highway Industries got the New Jersey suit dismissed based on the same allegedly fraudulent concealment of information concerning the design and safety of its products that was at the heart of the Texas verdict.
