DLA Piper welcomes Rodney Villazor, who joins the firm’s litigation practice based in Short Hills. An assistant U.S. attorney since 2008, Villazor spent four years in the organized crime unit for the District of New Jersey before transferring to the Northern District of California, where he worked in Special Prosecutions and National Security. He is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York, the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey and the National Filipino American Lawyers Association…LeClairRyan brings on board Peter Mares, who joins the national law firm as chief operating officer. He previously served as the vice president of global business services at Inventiv Health in Somerset. He will be resident in LeClairRyan’s Richmond, Virginia, and Newark offices.
