As she prepares to step into the role of president of the American Bar Association, Paulette Brown is giving a lot of thought to the best way to make an impact during her time in the spotlight.

A labor and employment litigator at Locke Lord Edwards in Morristown, Brown has been meeting with advisors and ABA staff to get ready for her one-year term. At the same time, she said, her legal practice has “really heated up” lately, necessitating a lot of cross-country travel. Taking the hectic pace in stride, she quipped that “sleep is overrated.”
