It appears lawyers and clients in New Jersey are more willing to lock horns over legal fees, if the recent uptick in fee arbitration filings is an indicator.
The roughly 1,200 fee arbitration matters filed last year, according to the Office of Attorney Ethics’ annual report, represents a 33.4 percent increase over a two-year period.
