The third of New Jersey’s three federal court nominees has won approval from the Senate Judiciary Committee, clearing the way for their confirmation by the full Senate.

The nomination of Julien X. Neals for U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee Nov. 5. The Judiciary Committee previously approved Brian Martinotti on Oct. 29 and John Michael Vazquez on Sept. 17.
