A New Jersey appeals court has refused to overturn a $45,935 malicious prosecution award for a Georgia trucker whose former employer claimed he was siphoning off diesel fuel from a company tractor-trailer and selling it on the street.

Appellate Division Judges Allison Accurso and Amy O’Connor said Nov. 6 they saw no reason to disturb the ruling by Gloucester County Superior Court Judge Jean McMaster to award the damages to plaintiff Michael Dixon, of Stone Mountain, Ga.
