This was another active year for the development of New Jersey environmental law, including a number of important New Jersey Supreme Court decisions. See, L. This article reviews 2015′s top 10 issues, several of which are likely to have significant implications in the future.

(10) Repurchase of Unused Sewer Capacity. The case of 388 Route 22 Readington Realty v. Twp. of Readington concerned the sale of sewer rights by public entities. 221 N.J. 318 (2015). The holders of unexecuted rights could make it impossible for the build-out of other development-ready projects.
