Zoetis Inc., a Florham Park-based animal health company, is purchasing PHARMAC to strengthen its livestock industry. PHARMAC sells vaccines for farmed fish, according to Zoetis. The $765 million deal will be complete by Nov. 10, Zoetis said.
B&G Foods Buys General Mills Veggie Brands for $765M
B&G Foods, based out of Parsippany, announced it has acquired General Mills brands Green Giant and LeSueur frozen and canned vegetables. The $765 million cash deal, which became effective Nov. 3, consisted of an inventory adjustment at closing of about $58 million. B&G Foods said the purchase of the two brands will generate a net sales of approximately $550 million.
