Christian Cavallo (above, right) and Christopher Weiss have joined Goldberg Segalla in Princeton. Cavallo, a partner, is an insurance coverage litigator with extensive experience representing insurers in high-value cases in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey. He was the recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Award, which was given to him by the New York City Bar Association for his pro bono work representing a death-row inmate. Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Cavallo was an associate at Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti in Morristown. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he received the Robert J. Fiske Jr. Fellowship Award, in 2007, and his B.A. from Providence College in 2003. Weiss, an associate, represents insurers in complex insurance coverage disputes and has significant experience working on behalf of insurers embroiled in matters arising from Superstorm Sandy. Weiss was previously an associate at Morgan Melhuish Abrutyn in Livingston. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law in 2010 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif upon graduation. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Ohio State University in 2007.
