Unsubscribe—A New Jersey man has filed a class action lawsuit against the company that runs the Jewish dating website JDate, alleging that it is engaged in a “deliberate, calculated, fraudulent scheme and conspiracy” through its electronic marketing.

In Hoffman v. Spark Networks USA, filed Dec. 14 in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Harold Hoffman, as class counsel and class representative, said that there is “no possible escape permitted by defendant from its spam email marketing blitz.”
