Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel welcomes Adam Segal and Andrea Katz, who have recently joined the firm’s workers’ compensation department. Segal, a Philadelphia resident, and Katz, an Englewood resident, represent insurance carriers and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims at all stages of litigation. Segal received his law degree, cum laude, from Widener School of Law and his B.S. degree in business economics from Lehigh University. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Katz received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. degree in international affairs, cum laude, from George Washington University. She previously served as chief of staff for Deputy Assembly Speaker Valerie Vainieri Huttle. Katz is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Sills Cummis & Gross in Newark welcomes back Robert Schiappacasse to the corporate practice group. He is a partner of the firm and is resident in the Princeton office. Prior to rejoining Sills Cummis & Gross, he was a partner at Archer & Greiner in Shrewsbury. He received a B.S. from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, in 1995 and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1998. He is admitted to the New Jersey and New York Bars. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions; corporate structure and governance, including state and federal regulatory filings; asset-based and mortgage-secured financings; and commercial real estate, including its acquisition, sale and leasing. He represents middle market companies in a broad range of industries, including construction, transportation, real estate development, solid waste and recycling, insurance and retail. Schiappacasse is also one of a small group of attorneys who handles transactions involving the demolition and sale of plant processes, both domestically and internationally. He also counsels restaurants and bars in connection with the purchase, sale, transfer and renewal of liquor licenses in the State of New Jersey.
