A Montvale-based developer and manufacturer of computer-based systems, Micronet Enertec, announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Telematics business, Novatel Wireless Inc. for $24 million. The assets include all intellectual property and the client base of the Telematics hardware business. All employees of Telematics will join Micronet. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2016, according to Micronet.
171-Unit Apartment Complex in Murray Hill Sold for $47M
A Murray Hill apartment complex has been sold for $47 million in a transaction between two private investors, according to real estate brokerage Gebroe-Hammer Associates. The firm said the 171-unit Murray Hill Apartments at 48 Southgate Road was part of a trade between two undisclosed parties. The garden-apartment complex includes 12 two-story buildings, with 72 one-bedroom and 100 two-bedroom units, Gebroe-Hammer said.
