A federal judge in Camden has refused to dismiss an indemnification claim filed by two food suppliers against a sandwich manufacturer in a suit over contaminated ham sandwiches sold by Starbucks.
U.S. District Judge Noel Hillman of the District of New Jersey denied the dismissal motion filed by sandwich maker SK Food Group Inc. of Seattle on March 4. Two defendants in the case, Wellshire Farms Inc. of Swedesboro and Hahn Brothers Inc. of Westminster, Maryland, are seeking defense costs and indemnification from SK Food.
