Porzio Bromberg in Morristown has promoted Lawrence Calli to partner. He joined Porzio as an associate in 2007 and was promoted to counsel in 2012. He is a member of the firm’s real estate and environmental practice group. He has represented Fortune 300 companies, medical centers, national banking institutions, telecommunication carriers, assisted-living facilities, nonprofit organizations and national and regional developers throughout the state, in all aspects of land development. He earned his J.D. with honors from St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims and the U.S.Tax Court.
Fitzgerald Joins Porzio Litigation Practice Group
Porzio Bromberg has hired William Fitzgerald as of counsel to the firm and a member of the litigation practice group in the firm’s New York office. He focuses his practice on sports and entertainment law. Fitzgerald represents local, national and international clients in transactions involving agreements such as artist management, literary publishing, film and television, record contracts, models and modeling agencies, professional sports, and employment contracts. He represents clients ranging from professional athletes and artists to industry executives in litigation matters, including breach of contract and fiduciary duty obligations, right of publicity and privacy, and court confirmation of minor’s contracts. Prior to joining Porzio, he independently practiced entertainment and sports law for several years before founding and heading entertainment and sports law practice groups in other tri-state law firms.
