A woman who underwent two spinal fusions after a rear-end accident settled her Morris County suit, Gomez v. Dillon, for $1.62 million on Feb. 23.

In May 2012, Romona Gomez had just picked up her daughter at the Pingry School and was driving on Mount Airy Road in Basking Ridge when she was struck from behind by another motorist, Margarita Dillon, according to Gomez’s lawyer, John Molinari of Blume, Donnelly, Fried, Forte, Zerres & Molinari in Jersey City.
