The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics has the authority to investigate ethics grievances against lawyers even after local district ethics committees have decided to dismiss them, the state Supreme Court ruled April 19.
The ruling means that the OAE will be allowed to investigate whether two attorneys should face ethics charges for allegedly using Facebook as a discovery tool.
