Porzio, Bromberg & Newman in Morristown has hired Robert Aldrich and Thomas Egg to the firm as of counsel. Both were formerly with AldrichEgg as partners. Aldrich was previously the founding member of the Aldrich Law Group. He has represented investment banks, trading desks, commercial banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions in connection with purchases and sales of distressed assets, secured and unsecured syndicated bank debt, mezzanine loans, insolvency claims, and debt and equity securities. Egg was previously a partner at Cocchiola, Garelick & Carchio in Lebanon. He has devoted his practice to representing clients in a variety of matters involving, among other matters, syndicated loan assignments, bankruptcy claim assignments, regulatory compliance issues, business start-ups, commercial disputes and transactions, and employment issues.

Caruso to Manage Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Red Bank Office

Scarinci Hollenbeck has appointed Anthony Caruso to manage its newest office in Red Bank. The new office is scheduled to open early next month to accommodate the continuing expansion of the firm’s Monmouth County presence. Scarinci Hollenbeck first opened an office in Monmouth County in 2006. The partners based in that office have made it a hub for intellectual property, cyber security and sports and entertainment law. Caruso will spearhead the firm’s recruitment efforts and client development. A partner at the firm since he joined in 2011, Caruso has developed a significant clientele in the areas of business law, sports, media and entertainment law. He is former counsel to a New Jersey governor and is a certified NFL agent.
