A Middlesex County jury on March 4 awarded a Sayreville woman $1.28 million in her suit, Hockman v. Tastee Sub Shop, as compensation for injuries she sustained when she slipped and fell in a deli.
Plaintiff Louise Hockman, now 75, was injured Feb. 26, 2012, as she was exiting the Tastee Sub Shop in Sayreville after purchasing a sandwich, said her attorney, Nicholas Leonardis.
