Petitions for relief in adjudicated criminal cases based on alleged misconduct at the State Police laboratory in Little Falls have been centralized before Superior Court Judge Edward Jerejian in Bergen County, Chief Justice Stuart Rabner announced April 26.
Jerejian will hear and decide all motions or applications for dismissal or vacatur of convictions or other relief, including possible expungement of records that include charges, arrests and convictions, in which State Police technician Kamalkant Shah was the primary examiner, conducted peer review or conducted administrative review of purported drug evidence, Rabner announced.
