The Union County Bar Association recently held its Annual Bar Awards Dinner. The 2015 dinner was held Nov. 10, 2015, at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall, Elizabeth. Recipients were Edwin McCreedy (Trial Law); Michael Blacker (Municipal Law); and Stanley Fink (Real Estate Law). The UCBA awarded its 2016 Awards on April 12, 2016, to Jon Bramnick (General Practice); Donald DiGioia (Criminal Law); and retired Superior Court Judge John Boyle (Nicholas Caruso Award).
Riker Danzig Receives “Champion of Good Works Award” From CIANJ
Morristown-based law firm Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti received the “Champion of Good Works” award March 10 from the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey at its Chairman’s reception held at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack. The awards program, “Saluting the Generosity of Business: Companies That Care,” seeks to provide “testimony to the corporate philanthropy that helps make New Jersey a great place to live, work and raise a family.” Riker Danzig was selected for a “Champion of Good Works” award in connection with its work for the Table of Hope Soup Kitchen, a Morristown soup kitchen that serves meals to approximately 100 individuals each weeknight and also functions as a food pantry for individuals and families in need. Partner Frank Vitolo, who serves on the board for the Table of Hope, accepted the award on behalf of the firm. Riker Danzig was lauded for its financial and Board support and also its contribution of time to the kitchen.
