Pittsburgh-based Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott’s partnership has voted Princeton attorney Michael Butler to partner. Butler assists clients with buying, selling and developing real estate property in New Jersey. He has obtained and defended land use approvals and franchise agreements for clients throughout the state. Butler is also an instructor for the New Jersey Planning Officials, an association of planning and zoning boards of adjustment, for which he teaches teaching seminars focused on New Jersey’s Municipal Land Use Law. He earned his J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002 and his B.S. at the College of New Jersey in 1999.

Cooper Levenson Expands Family Law Practice With New Partner

Ronald Lieberman, certified as a matrimonial law attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, has joined Cooper Levenson as a partner in the family/matrimonial department. Lieberman is based in the firm’s Cherry Hill office. He will practice in all areas of family/matrimonial law, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, child support, alimony, equitable distribution and appeals of family/matrimonial law matters. Lieberman is presently a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee and the executive editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer. He serves regularly as a matrimonial early settlement panelist in Burlington and Camden counties.
